Accessible front-panel connections, organised rear cabling
PBA 32F brings thirty-two balanced XLR3F connections to the front of the rack, arranged in two rows, and groups the rear cabling into four Tascam-standard DB-25 connectors. This keeps a high number of connections accessible at the front while multipair cabling can be managed neatly at the rear.
Passive bidirectional routing
Wiring is direct, passive and point-to-point and does not impose an electrical signal direction. The path between XLR3F and DB-25 can therefore be used in either direction according to the system routing.
Four groups of eight channels
The four DB-25 connectors correspond to CH1-8, CH9-16, CH17-24 and CH25-32. This grouping makes signal paths easier to identify and helps organise multipair cabling in racks with a high connection count.
Applications
PBA 32F is suitable for recording studios, theatres, large rehearsal rooms, broadcast systems, stage racks and installations requiring a high number of centralised XLR connections with Tascam-standard DB-25 cabling.
