16-channel analog summing for stem-based workflows

SAM integrates a stereo analog summing stage into stem-based and hybrid workflows. Sixteen balanced inputs are provided on two Tascam-standard DB-25 connectors, eight channels each, and are summed to balanced LEFT OUT and RIGHT OUT XLR3M outputs.

One control for the final stereo level

The master Gain control operates from −∞ to +3 dB, allowing the final stereo level to be set before returning to an A/D converter, recorder or downstream processing chain. The essential architecture keeps control focused on the final level without adding per-channel adjustments.

Straightforward system integration

The external 24 V DC power supply is included. Its compact format and DB-25/XLR connectivity make SAM suitable for studios and control rooms adding analog stereo summing to a hybrid chain while keeping routing simple and immediate.

Stem mixing, DAW/outboard integration, and analog stereo summing before returning to an A/D converter, recorder or downstream processing chain.
