Accessible front-panel connections, organised rear cabling
PBA 16F brings sixteen balanced XLR3F connections to the front of the rack and groups the rear cabling into two Tascam-standard DB-25 connectors. This keeps the connections accessible at the front while multipair cabling can be managed neatly at the rear.
Passive bidirectional routing
Wiring is direct, passive and point-to-point and does not impose an electrical signal direction. The path between XLR3F and DB-25 can therefore be used in either direction according to the system routing.
Two groups of eight channels
The two DB-25 connectors correspond to CH1-8 and CH9-16. This grouping makes signal paths easier to identify and helps keep multipair cabling organised at the rear of the rack.
Applications
PBA 16F is suitable for stage racks, broadcast studios, vocal booths, recording rooms and systems using interfaces, converters or mixers with Tascam-standard DB-25 connections.
