External phantom power on two independent channels

PPS is the two-channel phantom power supply in the Box Line range. It adds external phantom power to one or two microphone paths when the downstream device does not provide the required voltage or when phantom power needs to be managed as a separate function.

12V or 48V on each channel

Each channel can be set independently to 12 V or 48 V according to the specifications of the connected microphone. Current capability is 10 mA per channel even when both channels are used simultaneously. The yellow LED indicates 12 V, while the red LED indicates 48 V.

Straightforward XLR routing

Each path uses one balanced XLR3F input and one balanced XLR3M output. PPS can integrate with preamps, mixers, recorders or audio interfaces when a dedicated, independently managed phantom source is required. The external 24 V DC power supply is included.

Correct use

Always check the phantom voltage required by the microphone before use. PPS should not be described as automatically improving sound quality, reducing noise or guaranteeing undocumented pass-through audio performance.
