A mono active DI for instruments
DIAM is a mono active Direct Box for connecting an instrument, pedalboard or other compatible source to a mixer, stagebox or audio interface while retaining a THRU path to an amplifier.
Class-A buffer and custom transformer
The signal path uses a custom active circuit with Class-A buffer and a custom transformer. The XLR3M output is balanced and isolated through the transformer.
-20 dB Pad and straightforward routing
The -20 dB Pad attenuates higher-level sources. 6.35 mm IN and THRU jacks allow the signal to be sent to the audio system while keeping an amplifier or a second path connected in parallel when required.
48 V phantom power
DIAM is powered by 48 V phantom power via XLR3M. The front-panel LED indicates the presence of power.
Applications
Its compact format suits bass, acoustic/piezo guitar, synths, workstations and pedalboards in both studio and live setups.
