Broad tonal shaping with recall-friendly settings

BEQ is the Stereo BAX EQ in the Box Line Double range, inspired by the Baxandall principle and designed to refine the tonal balance of buses, stems, stereo mixes and hybrid mastering workflows.

Stepped Shelf and Cut filters

Low Shelf and High Shelf combine selectable frequencies with gain within ±5 dB, while Low Cut and High Cut allow you to shape the frequency extremes through stepped frequency selections and an OUT position. All controls are shared across the stereo pair, supporting repeatable and easy-to-recall settings.

Line-level integration

The XLR inputs and outputs are balanced and operate at line level, while the signal path is transformerless solid state. The BYP / IN selector removes the EQ section from the signal path; it is not a true bypass. The external 24 V DC power supply is included.

Applications

BEQ is suitable for mixing engineers, mastering engineers, producers and project studios working with mix buses, drum buses, stems or other stereo line-level sources and looking for broad, controllable and recall-friendly tonal shaping.
